About me
I’m currently a Research Advisor to the Financial Resilience Division of the Bank of England.
Prior to that I was an Associate Professor at Radboud University and a senior policy advisor at the Dutch central bank, De Nederlandsche Bank. There I designed new rules and regulations for banks, insurance firms and pension funds. The combination of these two positions allowed me to create synergies between academic and policy work.
This blog was initialy intended to post material that is useful for teaching at the Radboud University in Nijmegen.
We have Blackboard but access is restricted and I intend to post some stuff that might be useful for a wider audience. At first I will start with some background material for my master thesis students. Then I will add material about Stata, a statistics package. In due course you’ll see some useful links.
