There are many articles about good writing out there. Invariably, Strunk and White is acknowledged as a indispensable resource. I won’t repeat but merely point to other people’s work:
- Elmer Sterken has written a short note: How To Write An Economics Paper? This will give you a nice start.
- Another more extended version has been written by David Colander and Jenifer Gamber: Hatching an essay.
- Johannes Cronjé from University of Pretoria has written Academic writing by numbers (or how to get published without really trying)”, which sounds really appealing. It’s more a reader for a course than a concise guide, though.
